About the Role
A global electronic components distributor is seeking a highly driven Senior Account Manager to expand their customer base in Vietnam, focusing primarily on OEM and EMS clients in the electronics and industrial manufacturing sectors. This is a strategic role for a proven B2B sales professional who understands the supply chain, sourcing challenges, and dynamics of the local electronics market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development by identifying and onboarding OEM and EMS customers in Vietnam.
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients in electronics manufacturing, offering tailored sourcing and supply solutions for electronic components.
- Consult with clients’ procurement and engineering teams to understand project needs and propose suitable products
- Collaborate with global sourcing and fulfilment teams to ensure on-time delivery and competitive pricing.
- Achieve assigned revenue, gross margin, and account growth targets.
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity reports in CRM systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in electronic component distribution or industrial trading.
- Proven track record of working with OEM/EMS clients
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and supply chain constraints.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Able to work independently with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Professional English (verbal and written) for international coordination.
