A Talent Acquisition Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, recruit, and hire talent to adapt to the company’s rapid growth, ensure a positive candidate experience, and build a strong talent pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with the organization’s goals, including sourcing, recruitment, and hiring processes.
- Sourcing Candidate: Identify and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Recruitment Process Management: Manage the entire recruitment life cycle, from job posting and screening to interviewing and making offers.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company’s image as an employer of choice to attract top talent.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and other HR professionals to understand their needs and ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Track key recruitment metrics and provide data-driven insights to improve talent acquisition processes.
- Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding of new hires, ensuring a positive and successful start.
- Talent Planning: Forecast future talent needs and develop strategies to address them.
- Supervision: May supervise or mentor recruiters or other talent acquisition staff.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the talent acquisition process and implement solutions.
- Budget Management: Manage the talent acquisition budget effectively.
- Consulting Provide guidance and advice to HR professionals and hiring managers on talent acquisition best practices.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure that all recruitment activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- English communication both verbal and writing skills.
Experience Qualifications
- 10 years of human resources experience with at least 7 years of Talent Acquisition, both mass recruitment and back-office.
- 3 years Leading, managing, or directing a team nationwide.
- Experience in retail chain, F&B chain, FMCG with fast growth.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to grow, develop, influence, and unify the Talent Acquisition team. Ability to build and optimize recruiting infrastructure (recruiting strategy, budget, tools, etc.)
- Demonstrated background in human resources strategy, conception, and development.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity while attending to multiple stakeholders, a variety of concurrent projects, and firm deadlines.
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members by creating an inclusive environment, promoting positive communication, and encouraging teamwork and team member flexibility.
- Knowledge of talent acquisition, including recruiting strategy development, candidate sourcing, candidate pipelining, stakeholder management, and assessment/selection.
