Technology Expert to lead and optimize the production of pasteurized sausage products. This role combines deep technical expertise in food processing with engineering principles to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement, oversee equipment and process design, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maximize equipment efficiency to lower cost-per-unit and reduce energy consumption.
- Drive process innovations that increase throughput while minimizing material waste.
- Support ROI evaluations for capital investments in new machinery and automation technologies.
- Enhance production reliability by minimizing downtime and engineering-related losses.
- Ensure consistent output of high-quality, safe, and pasteurized sausages that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to reduce consumer complaints and improve satisfaction metrics.
- Contribute to product development initiatives that extend shelf life and enhance market competitiveness.
- Provide technical leadership during key customer quality audits and compliance reviews.
- Lead the design, validation, and continuous improvement of sausage pasteurization processes, including thermal treatment, hygienic packaging, and sanitation controls.
- Perform root cause analysis on production constraints and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Maintenance) to boost line performance and operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor/Master/Ph.D
- Major: Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in meat processing, preferably with pasteurized products
