Engineering Manager (Machinery)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain confidentiality of manufacturing methodologies and proprietary process information.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments such as P.I.C, QA, and HR.
• Work directly with external technical experts to resolve production line issues.
• Troubleshoot technological problems and implement solutions to improve product quality during shifts.
• Identify, analyze, and trace root causes of production and quality issues.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance process performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, Materials, or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Engineering & Technology within a light-industry manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of managerial or leadership experience.
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Proven ability to lead teams and achieve results through others.
• Strong technical research and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle complex or abstract issues under tight deadlines.
• Capable of handling special assignments promptly and professionally.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, cross-cultural, and global team environments.
• Good knowledge of SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes, such as solder printing and high-temperature reflow furnaces.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including influencing, negotiation, conflict resolution, and collaboration.
