Chief Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage daily accounting and finance operations at the Hanoi Branch
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with both VAS and IFRS, along with tax filings and management reports
• Liaise with external parties including auditors, banks, and tax authorities
• Ensure strict adherence to management procedures and policies set by the Regional Headquarters to maintain strong internal controls
• Lead finance team activities, including recruitment and task allocation
• Coordinate with Regional Headquarters on consolidated reporting as required by Headquarters
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the CFO

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Mandatory Chief Accountant certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within an FDI company, preferably in a large corporation or division
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience in SAP implementation is a plus
• Good command of English
