Payroll and compliance are not just operational tasks; they directly impact a business's stability and the employee experience. Below is a real-world story of how Talentnet has helped diverse enterprises to ensure absolute accuracy and legal compliance
Project snapshot
- Client industry: Logistics
- Workforce size: 30,000 workers (6,000 full-time employees; 24,000 riders/drivers)
- Timeline: 01 month to complete the transition.
- Nature: Rapid workforce growth led to a sharp increase in sick leave and maternity claims, creating significant demand for social insurance operations.
- Scope: End-to-end Social Insurance management & Payroll processing
At a workforce scale of 30,000, social insurance operations are no longer just about handling large volumes of documentation, but about building deep expertise, robust data governance, and standardized, sustainable processes to consistently safeguard employee entitlements.

The challenges
Starting in July 2025, Talentnet expanded its service scope for this e-commerce platform, managing a workforce of 30,000 workers, including 24,000 drivers and delivery personnel. The scale and complexity of the operation created significant pressure on social insurance administration, requiring strong expertise, large-scale data processing, and highly reliable operational processes. Each month, the system processes around 1,500 new hires, 1,000 exits, and a high volume of social insurance claims within a fast-changing data environment where compliance leaves virtually no room for error.
Payroll operations are equally demanding. Nearly 31,000 employees must be processed within six hours once complete data is received – regardless of time, weekends, or Tet holidays. Beyond the main payroll cycle, weekly additional payments such as adjustments, on-hold releases, and advances must also be handled across varying banking details and payment amounts. All pay slips are required within one day after pay date, followed by continuous additional issuance, requiring sustained operational agility beyond the core payroll timeline.
Talentnet’s execution
Talentnet delivered a comprehensive and integrated execution of payroll and social insurance management. For payroll execution, the team has:
- Implemented system setup, payroll reports, salary calculation rules, and bank files within just 1 day.
- Successfully received, checked, and set up all employee data into the system within 2 days, including the audit of registration records for approximately 500 dependents in a single day.
- To ensure operational continuity, Talentnet coordinated with the CIS team to synchronize data entry, timekeeping, insurance deduction, and payroll calculation, meeting the customer’s payroll timeline from the very first month.
Throughout the ongoing service, Talentnet maintained 99% accuracy in payroll calculation and feedback, while deploying system capabilities to export bank files and upload salary orders to the bank portal weekly. The team also configured pay slip templates for 4 distinct employee groups within 1 week and dispatched all monthly pay slips within 1 day after the system upgrade, providing continuous support for additional slips and faulty email structures.
In parallel, Talentnet managed the entire social insurance process, delivered end-to-end Social Insurance management, including: Monthly reconciliation of social insurance contributions against payroll; New registrations, deregistrations, and book closing processes. The team has:
- Issued 10,000 social insurance books, and proactively coordinated with authorities to secure 5,000 additional blank books during nationwide shortages
- Managed issuance of health insurance cards and all statutory procedures
Given the nature of delivery and driver roles, the platform saw a sharp rise in sickness and maternity claims, generating a high volume of supporting documents for social insurance processing. In response, Talentnet:
- Checked and matched claim documents with timesheets, working hours, and social insurance contribution data.
- Ensured 100% of claims were assessed in full compliance with statutory requirements, mitigating the risk of retroactive assessments or claim rejections.
- Ensured employees receive their social insurance benefits fully and on time.
The outcome
Talentnet successfully managed social insurance operations for 30,000 employees, ensuring 100% legal compliance across all activities. At the same time, processing times were significantly shortened, enabling employees to receive their benefits faster, while substantially reducing internal workload and optimizing overall operational efficiency for the business.
