Job Responsibilities
- Handle all general and administrative matters, including financial and accounting issues
- Provide direction and instructions to accounting staff based on corporate guidelines
- Establish detailed guidelines and procedures on all financial accounting in accordance with operating standards
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations and assist in annual budget process
- Establish and maintain internal accounting controls and policies
- Assist the financial controller in complying with annual budget and business plan
- Monthly reconcile all balance sheet accounts on the general ledger
- Manage and train accounting staff and supervise transactions
- Assist in monthly closing, journal entries, and annual/statutory audits
- Pro-active participation in operational and process improvements
- Other duties as assigned by group director finance & controlling
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in a similar position
- Experience in hospitality industry is a plus
- Fluent in English (both written and speaking)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and hotel systems
(FIDELIO PMS, MICROS POS, OPERA PMS, SAGE ERP, SUN SYSTEM)
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational
