Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure on-time and high-quality production execution across multiple suppliers while monitoring production progress, key milestones, and potential risks to meet delivery commitments and client expectations.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams, including Supply Chain, Project Management, and Quality, to maintain full visibility and alignment throughout the production process.
- Conduct on-site inspections at supplier facilities, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC), ensuring compliance with approved master samples, Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and luxury brand specifications.
- Prepare clear and structured inspection reports, provide actionable feedback, and drive the implementation of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans to address non-conformities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for manufacturing partners, supporting continuous improvement in quality consistency, process control, and adherence to luxury finishing standards.
- Identify recurring production and quality issues, implement improvement initiatives, and promote a quality-first culture aligned with premium brand expectations.
- Lead pre-production reviews with suppliers to ensure technical alignment, validate construction feasibility, production methods, and potential risks affecting product aesthetics and functionality.
- Ensure suppliers are fully prepared and capable of meeting quality and production requirements before the start of mass production.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on production status, inspection results, risk assessments, and critical issues requiring escalation.
- Maintain comprehensive traceability of production activities, quality performance, and supplier compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
Job Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in quality control, inspections, supplier management, and production follow-up within international supply chains.
- Proven experience working with manufacturing partners across Southeast Asia and/or China.
- Background in luxury packaging, premium consumer goods, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AQL methodologies, inspection standards, IQC/IPQC/FQC processes, and production techniques for paper, textile, and soft goods materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, Technical Data Sheets (TDS), product specifications, and approved reference samples.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese or Italian is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Asia (approximately 50–70% of the time).
- Based in Southeast Asia, with Cambodia preferred.
- Comfortable managing multiple product categories and supplier networks in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail, with a keen understanding of luxury quality standards.
- Able to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
