Job Responsibilities
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key clients in order to establish and grow the corporate market and generate repeat business.
- Continue to identify, qualify, and solicit new accounts from the corporate segment and immediate local market.
- Concentrate efforts in selling rooms to achieve targeted revenue goals and contribute towards overall property ADR and RevPar.
- Conduct sales visits and presentations and maintain strong working relationships with corporate travel managers etc.
- Maintain hotel relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and account revenue.
- Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Prepare branded and personalized proposals and contracts in timely fashion.
- Articulate and leverage the benefits of the hotel to close sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with revenue manager in all matters related to rates and revenue management in the best interest of overall hotel goals.
- Support hotel operations and communicate effectively to ensure corporate clients stays exceed expectations.
- Generate new ideas for new promotions, partnerships and strategic alliances to build visibility and revenue opportunities.
- Keep well informed about market trends, new and existing competitors’ strategies and factors impacting corporate travel into Phnom Penh.
- Familiarize with direct competing hotels.
- Build, maintain and increase market share among comp set hotels.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as Sales Manager position in standard hotel
- University degree in related hotel management discipline or equivalent education.
- Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects and of working under pressure.
- Team player, who values teamwork, has good team building skills and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
- Personable and pleasant to deal with. Discreet, reliable, sensitive and diplomatic.
- Guest-driven, friendly, fair and approachable.
- Positive “can do” attitude and flexible approach – manages with humility.
- High degree of integrity.
- Strong Leadership Skills and a proactive problem solver.
- Nurtures and develops employees, encouraging innovation.
- Good health, physically fit. Excellent personal grooming & personal presentation.
