Technical Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage all Technical Department activities to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and achievement of business objectives.
• Review and approve technical documents, drawings, specifications, routings, and BOMs before production.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, sample workshop, and subcontractors.
• Identify and prevent technical and quality risks through effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage departmental performance, budgeting, staffing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and improve technical databases, ERP systems, and technical standards.
• Deliver technical training and support the development of technical capabilities across the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical disciplines, Furniture Design, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in Technical, Product Engineering, or Sample Development within furniture manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of furniture construction, materials, manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and BOM systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and training skills.
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
• Familiarity with US and European furniture standards is an advantage.
