JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Business Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the business development strategy to achieve the Company’s growth objectives in Vietnam.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development team to build a sustainable and high-performing organization.
- Establish annual business plans, sales targets, and execution roadmaps for the assigned business segments.
- Drive performance management, succession planning, and capability development within the team.
B. Market Development & Business Origination
- Develop and implement country-level go-to-market strategies, including customer segmentation, solution positioning, and channel partnerships.
- Identify, originate, prioritize, and secure greenfield and brownfield opportunities in industrial zones, manufacturing facilities, and commercial developments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial park developers, utility providers, government agencies, and key customers.
- Drive business pipeline growth and ensure achievement of secured project targets.
C. Commercial Development & Investment Assessment
- Lead commercial negotiations with customers and strategic partners to secure long-term business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Legal, and Technical teams to develop business cases and investment proposals.
- Review financial models and commercial assumptions to support investment decisions.
- Support the resolution of commercial disputes and contractual matters when required.
D. Stakeholder Management & Project Development
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project development and customer delivery.
- Work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to develop optimal technical and commercial solutions.
- Provide leadership support during project development, contract negotiations, and project handover stages.
- Maintain long-term customer relationships and drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
E. Market Intelligence & Risk Management
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy developments affecting the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Identify legal, commercial, regulatory, and investment risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Provide strategic market insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and applicable regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Energy, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in business development, investment, commercial management, or project development.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing Business Development teams.
- Strong experience in cooling systems, energy solutions, utilities, industrial parks, renewable energy, ESCO, CaaS, or related sectors.
- Proven track record in originating, negotiating, and closing large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
