Develop and implement short-term (annual) and medium-term (3–5 years) export sales strategies aligned with the Company’s business objectives.
Build and manage departmental OGSM, sales plans, product portfolios, target markets, sales volumes, and pricing strategies.
Monitor and ensure effective execution of approved business plans and sales objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and drive sustainable revenue growth.
2. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
Identify, approach, and acquire new customers through various channels, including trade fairs, digital platforms, industry networks, referrals, and direct outreach.
Develop strategic accounts and increase customer retention and satisfaction.
Forecast customer demand and sales volume over 3, 6, and 12-month periods.
3. Market Expansion
Research, evaluate, and develop new export markets.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities.
Recommend market entry and expansion strategies to management.
4. Contract Negotiation & Execution
Lead commercial negotiations with customers and business partners.
Prepare and submit contracts for management approval and execution.
Ensure all contracts are implemented according to agreed terms and delivery schedules.
Resolve customer complaints, claims, and disputes effectively while protecting the Company’s interests.
Proactively identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
5. Sales Operations Management
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, and related departments to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Monitor inventory levels and propose solutions for slow-moving or near-expiry products.
Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of customer payments.
Monitor foreign exchange and international payment risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Ensure achievement of sales, profit, and growth targets.
6. Team Leadership & People Management
Lead, coach, and develop the Export Sales team to achieve departmental objectives.
Build competency frameworks and succession plans for key positions.
Manage workforce planning, performance evaluation, and employee development activities.
Foster a high-performance and collaborative working culture.
7. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
Monitor industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities.
Prepare competitor analysis and market intelligence reports.
Provide recommendations to improve competitiveness and market positioning.
8. Reporting & Performance Management
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance reports.
Review and evaluate progress against OGSM and business plans.
Provide accurate and timely reports to senior management.
9. Other Duties
Collaborate with internal departments to support business operations and corporate initiatives.
Perform additional assignments as directed by the COO, CEO, or Board of Management.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in International Business, International Economics, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Commerce, or related disciplines.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in export sales or international business.
Minimum 3 years of management experience leading sales teams.
Language Skills
Strong English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
Additional foreign language proficiency is an advantage.
Professional Knowledge
Strong understanding of international trade, export-import operations, and commercial practices.
Knowledge of Incoterms, international payment methods, trade compliance, and contract management.
Understanding of risk management processes in international business.
