Support the Associate Director of Manufacturing in developing and implementing manufacturing strategies aligned with overall business objectives, focusing on cost efficiency, operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement within the assigned region.
Assist in integrating and promoting operational safety practices across the team.
Manage the transition from Development Technical Package to production stage, ensuring smooth technical handover and readiness for manufacturing.
Oversee technical transfer and commercialization of products into production.
Conduct physical property testing of incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
Support the management of all manufacturing activities, including commercialization, quality assurance, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Take overall accountability for departmental fixed assets and inventory-related assets, including testing equipment, molds, Tech Packs, samples, and computer equipment.
Monitor production and commercialization performance in the assigned region.
Assist in developing and executing cost management strategies, including budget monitoring and cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality or efficiency.
Identify and drive process optimization, automation, and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
Support the adoption of process designs, technologies, and methods that maximize efficiency and ensure continuous process flow.
Establish and maintain effective quality control systems to ensure compliance with product specifications, industry standards, and customer expectations.
Monitor QA/QC training programs and team performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.
Conduct insole wear testing as required.
Support the development and leadership of a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members.
Recommend updates and improvements to departmental SOPs.
Support the achievement of manufacturing KPIs and OKRs.
Organize team-building and capability development activities for employee levels M2, M1, A3, A2, and A1.
Identify, mitigate, and report potential risks and challenges in manufacturing operations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and ethical practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a leadership role within Asia.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and quality management systems.
Proven track record in driving operational excellence, cost optimization, and continuous improvement.
Solid understanding of supply chain management, procurement, and logistics.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire high-performing teams.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in Mandarin; English proficiency is an advantage.
