Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Development & Innovation

  • Drive product development activities through the Product Development Process, from ideation to commercial launch for assigned product portfolios.
  • Build, present, and manage product cases with clear business value and cost-benefit analysis aligned with company strategy and category roadmap.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among R&D, Technical/Nutrition, Commercial, BioFarm/Customer Service, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product commercialization.
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term product category roadmaps.
  • Contribute to the prioritization and execution of R&D and BioFarm projects related to product innovation.
  • Work closely with Technical teams to define product specifications and recipe development requirements.
  • Participate in workshops and cross-functional discussions to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the full product lifecycle of assigned aqua feed product categories, from market introduction to product retirement.
  • Ensure products are fully understood and effectively implemented across relevant business units.
  • Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and product usage to identify opportunities for market growth and value creation.
  • Analyze competitor performance, market trends, and commercial opportunities to maximize market penetration and profitability.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives to improve existing products and drive customer-focused product enhancements.

Product Marketing & Commercial Support

  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new products and product enhancements.
  • Build and strengthen company knowledge in shrimp and fish nutrition within assigned product categories.
  • Support sales enablement activities including bid preparation, product communication, training, datasheets, white papers, and customer value stories.
  • Present product features, technical materials, and value propositions to sales teams, customer service teams, and key customers.
  • Work with Marketing teams to develop insights into competitor products, services, risks, and market opportunities.

Market & Business Analysis

  • Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, industry trends, and commercial data to support strategic product decisions.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and solutions to improve product performance and business value.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support strategic category growth initiatives.

Stakeholder & Project Management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced working environment while ensuring timely delivery of objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with regional and global stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Communicate product strategies, development progress, and commercial recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders and management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture or a related field; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial product strategy, preferably within aquaculture or related industries.
  • Experience working in highly technical environments with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience collaborating across multiple teams and projects within a global matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of aquaculture markets, products, customer needs, and industry trends; knowledge of global aquaculture regulations is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities; project management certification is a plus.
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen with the ability to balance operational execution and long-term planning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical fluency with the ability to discuss, challenge, and present technical concepts confidently.
  • Advanced English proficiency in all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
