Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
Full Sales Cycle Management: Drive the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and contract negotiation to project commissioning for C&I installations.
Technical & Operational Liaison: Coordinate with the Technical Team for site assessments and feasibility studies; collaborate with EPC contractors, government agencies, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture strategic long-term relationships with key Chinese-speaking clients and industry stakeholders.
Regulatory Monitoring: Stay updated on Vietnam’s solar regulations, net metering policies, incentives, and shifting market dynamics.
Brand Representation: Represent the organization at major trade shows, industry events, and high-level client meetings to enhance market presence.
Project Oversight: Ensure all rooftop solar projects align with commercial objectives and client expectations during the development phase.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business development, preferably within the solar or renewable energy sectors.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing and closing solar projects, with specific experience handling Chinese-speaking clientele.
Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Mandarin proficiency is a significant advantage (or required depending on the specific priority of the portfolio).
Sales Expertise: Exceptional B2B sales skills, account management, and a strong commercial mindset geared toward growth.
Technical Understanding: Solid knowledge of rooftop solar systems, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), and net metering frameworks.
Cultural Competence: Deep familiarity with Chinese business culture, etiquette, and regulatory expectations.
Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
Soft Skills: High level of autonomy, ability to work with limited supervision, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
