AI x Leadership: When Artificial Intelligence ignites Leadership Intelligence

While 55% of employees are already using AI at work, only 14% of HR leaders believe their organizations are truly ready for the AI era. This gap reflects more than a difference in adoption levels—it highlights a critical challenge facing Vietnamese enterprises today: leadership capability, not technology, is the real bottleneck in the AI transition.

The report “When Artificial Intelligence ignites Leadership Intelligence” compiled by Talentnet from insights shared by more than 15 speakers at The Makeover 2025, provides a clearer picture of this reality. At the event, speakers shared their perspectives on AI through three leadership capabilities enhanced by AI and three leadership qualities humans can learn from AI.
3 LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES ENHANCED BY AI
Rather than viewing AI as a support tool, forward-looking leaders believe AI can help upgrade three core leadership capabilities: interpreting information, analytical agility & predictive foresight, and active response & objective decisioning. AI enables leaders to better understand the true meaning behind data, anticipate emerging trends, and make faster decisions while maintaining accuracy and human judgment. When applied effectively, AI does not replace leadership acts as a catalyst that expands leaders’ influence and enables organizations to adapt proactively in an increasingly volatile environment.

3 AI QUALITIES THAT HUMANS CAN LEARN
Beyond enhancing capabilities, AI also highlights leadership qualities that humans can actively learn and cultivate. These include think smart—the ability to integrate fragmented information into purposeful action; curious intelligence —the willingness to experiment, adapt quickly, and optimize continuously amid change; and lead with responsibility — ensuring that data-driven decisions remain transparent, fair, and ethical. By learning from how AI operates, leaders do not become more “mechanical”; instead, they deepen their thinking, strengthen their leadership maturity, and reinforce human values in guiding their organizations.
Based on these insights, Talentnet introduces the S.A.I.L Framework—a leadership capability model for the AI era encompassing Sustain, Adapt, Integrate, and Lead. The framework supports organizations in fostering a culture of continuous learning, developing AI-ready leaders, integrating AI into operations, and practicing transparent and responsible leadership.
